History
In 1995, a home brew kit for making apple cider paved the way for the formation of Cider Works. Andrey, with his wife, Jodie, turned his skills as a Chemist to make commercial cider making.
In the development phase, the search was for the best apple juice, yeast, and conditions to make a traditional style apple cider. Where possible, everything was to be sourced locally from the South West.
Finally, we thought that we had it right and launched the first of our hand crafted premium quality aged apple ciders in September 2002 in Capel, Western Australia, simply labelled Dry and Sweet. What our customers say:
I am looking forward to Cider Works Sweet being the beverage of choice for this summer! We tell all our friends we have discovered the best drink ever, but don’t tell them it’s cider (due to stereotypes). We just get them to taste it and watch the looks of delicious surprise on their faces.
Thanks for making such a refreshing, natural, hangover free, delicious drink.
